anyone else itching to get back out on the roads?

Post by sallan850 »

well my wee mini super was due a mot this week so it was a wee trip down to the mini works in edinburgh, and even though the brakes made me s**t myself is was a very enjoyable ride and it just makes me long for the dry summer nights that i hope will soon arrive (fingers crossed)

So anyone else feel the same way?

Had it out a fortnight ago when it had been dry for about a week - took a wee spin to gently wake it up from hibernation.
But now it's raining again and the roads are thick with salt

Well I must say here in Mexico is always sunny so I guess I'm lucky I can drive my mini any day of the year, hope you guys can take yours out of the garage soon.

after having been out and about in my s in the last 3 weeks !!!...its back to winter.. its been raining/sleet/snowing for 24 hours in north norfolk !! its been -1 today and by tomoz night -7 in rural spots... so trickle charge will be left on another week or so by the forecast !!! ?? compare that to + 11 on tuesday last week !!!!!...... foxy52

Here in Denmark its really cold, and strong winds, so it feels like minus 20 degrees celcius .
the weather forecast predicted snow again to morrow, so no hurry to get the car out.

Same here. Equal hottest and second driest summer on record. I've had some great drives in the Moke, but we desperately need the rain.

Lovely weather in Athens today. The sun is out, the thermometer will creep up to 20 Celcius, I have 4 classics wainting for a nice drive along the coast, and I am stuck home.

This is what I look forward to.
