hrcr clubmans championship 2013, slowboy returns

well, after over a year away from historic rallying, i have registered for the championship again, i won the masters and finished 4th o/a in 2010 despite not finishing the year with back trouble, i hope i am now fit enough to contest 9 or 10 of the 11 rounds, entry in for round 1, ali proctor on the maps, we have only done one event together but got on really well and finishe 3rd o/a, will be a bit competition rusty , so a top 10 first time out would be good so should be doing a bit more of this in 2013,

Well Jon, I will be out on this event also so will be trying to achieve fastest Mini on the tests in my 1275GT .... I live in hope but the navigation we have no cHance with ..... I can say this knowing my navigator does not frequent this forum.

So its a while since I did this event , are M&S tyres the choice for this or not?

it was featured in 2000, but never had a wortz airbox

Hi Jon,

Sparrow car now on its wheels and with Will to be completed , engine has been built by richard Longman , and box by will now need to be fitted , car rewired, re con dash and instruments , then get it running .

Photos on MCR site as I have never cracked putting photos on this site.

I drove on a Novice rally last year in a 205 and finished ok and was out navving last weekend...that said i'm up your way in a fortnight doing Illuminations..

Yes think so, the trips gone in yesterday....I only live 20 miles away so it's home for me for the night and back Saturday....reading the finals I see Mr Sparrow is one of the guests along with John brown...
