Radiator restoration

Post by Jamie »

Could anybody recommend a company who restore radiators?

Its the usual Coventry flat top, i would like to get it recored to cope with a lightly modified 1275.

Just wondered if anyone has used someone to do the same to their rad? I'm down south but i could always post it if needed.

thanks for your help.

I'll be interested to see how this goes. I've got a couple of old radiators that need sorting, but I'm not sure whether to try to have them recored, or whether to have the flat top put onto a new radiator.

I used Guildford Radiators in Cranleigh to fit a larger capacity core to mine - a quick and helpful service which preserved the original appearance and fit.

They fixed my mothers Volvo 66 radiator in 1983 when the top tank split.
