Problem with fitting bulbs to a new loom
Just bought a new loom from Minispares, and can't get the GLB987 bulbs to fit the bulb holders. Minispares says that the tooling is quite worn, and the bulb holder will need tweaking to be able to make the bulbs fit. Does anyone here have the same problem? I also tried with a new seperate bulb holder (part no. AEU1313A), but they had the same problem

Re: Problem with fitting bulbs to a new loom
those bulb holders are rubbish
if you 'nip' them a little with a set of thin pliers and squash them a little the bulbs will fit better
i just buy old secondhand bulb holders that have a 'tail' of wire already fitted and solder them in, it doesnt look as nice, but at least the bulbs dont fall out.

'but at least the blubs dont fall out'
Can you explain this. Is it a technical term?

technically they are lamps, bulbs are something that grow in the ground
