Beaulieu 2013 - Now a single day show.

After much discussion the committee of the Mini Cooper Register has reluctantly decided that Beaulieu 2013 will revert to a single day format for this year.

We have taken into account that many Mini enthusiasts face a hard decision in 2013 with the IMM taking place in May and the revised date of the 2nd June for the London to Brighton run. After much discussion the club has decided that 2013 is probably not the best time to organise a 2 day event. So the National Mini Cooper Day will be a 1 day event on Sunday 9th June.

However if enthusiasts would like to combine Brighton and the Beaulieu event, especially those travelling from long distances, Sussex, Hampshire and the New Forest are good holiday areas with many B&Bs and camp sites. So why not take a holiday and attend both events.

Speaking on behalf of the club, I can only offer my apologies to those who were supportive of the Saturday event.

Maybe 2014 will see a second day for Beaulieu. But to acheive that we will need support. Please also bear in mind that the Saturday was to be a purely social afternoon/evening.

The decesion to revert back to a one day show was reluctantly taken mid January at the Committee meeting after the February issue of CooperWorld had gone to the printers. There is a full explanation about this reluctant change of heart in the March edition of CooperWorld which should be out by the end of February.
