Can anyone point me to information on this "Speedwell Van"?

As a new guy here, I don't want to put any noses out of joint, but I was "friends" with a guy who put together a "Speedwell Van" in the 90's, and I have since seen it trade hands on the internet 2-3 times with a very false story behind it....despite having informed two sellers that was they were selling was nothing like what they were claiming. Hopefully, we are discussing very different cars, and the one I'm thinking of has been relegated to the "cute" category, instead of the "historically important" one.

Hard magazine to get where I live.

The van my "friend" put together was pale grey with a white roof, and had maroon colored lettering in the panels down the side of van. The "sign painting" was created by scanning a Speedwell valve cover badge, and having it cut out in adhesive vinyl.

Perfectly genuine.

A very interesting difference between the early cars & what came later.
