Mini Super deluxe 1962 jack

Post by smudge724 »

Hi all can anyone tell me what type of jack would you have expected to find in a Mini of this year would it have been the really early jack consisting of the A frame style or the solid steel later types.
Grateful if anyone could answer this

A 62 would have had an orange coloured standard "T" jack.

my mar 62 deluxe,,my oct 62 super and nov 62 super deluxe all have the triangular jacks

my april 62 or sept 62 850 supers didnt have a jack.(missing)

i always thought spring 63 the jacks were changed to the "t" jack,,

suppose these cars are morrises,,,they always took longer to use up all the stock.

hey.there arent many 1962 super deluxes left.!!!!!

my research shows there are more 62 supers left than 62 super deluxes

:o

i have an october 62 built grey super deluxe morris ... one of the first super deluxes l to be built at cowley.so early it even had a cone synchro box casing with baulk ring internals.as they hadnt yet started using the 22g68 casing at cowley at this point.

the 1962early super deluxes have some strange quirks, and are a rare find today..
