They are in lovely condition, an uneducated guess would lean to perhaps a microcell?

Re: seat identification???
They look like Sprinzel Rallye 3 seats to me. (see appropriate section on the MK1 parent site.) We have a very similar pair of seats in a Sunbeam, the chaps on this forum identified them for me.
If they are anything like our seats they are very light and very comfortable.

Re: seat identification???
My first thought was Mini Marcos seats...as seen in the sales flier for the Mk3 cars. On further reading, I see that that is their destination! Great looking and appropriate for the application.

Not a Stiletto but a Rapier. The centre material on our seats is very coarse and grips like glue- you don't slide at all!999 ORX wrote:Cheers, yeh I just found a photo of one.. Look very similar! And they are very light weight.. Sunbeam stilleto by any chance? These came out of a imp I think..
Yours will look great in a Marcos.

The Marcos they are destined for is a mk3!pigpen wrote:My first thought was Mini Marcos seats...as seen in the sales flier for the Mk3 cars. On further reading, I see that that is their destination! VERY smart sracing! I love those harnesses! Are they aircraft ones? So is that the original material on the seats? They look in great condition also. If that is the original material do yours have the same type riverts under at the front?
Cheers chris

I have a set of the low back ones, however I can remember them being Terry seats.

Re: seat identification???
The shape of the seats look quite similar to a pair that came with a mk2 I bought, havn't got a picture of them on their own but this is it in the car. The subframes are also the same I think, the metal level for the sliding mechanism says 'Chapmans Birmingham' if I remember correctly

Re: seat identification???
Thanks! The harnesses are by Delaney Gallay Ltd which I believe were available through Speedwell. The car is very original so I would presume that the material is original.sracing wrote:VERY smart sracing! I love those harnesses! Are they aircraft ones? I would have to check to see if there are any rivets under the front - I think they are.
There was quite some discussion regarding the seats when I was identifying them a couple of years ago, hope this link works:
