1964 Austin Moke Restoration Project

yes it was bad it was found it in a field in chester i bought off ebay after a few cans of larger !!! when we got it back to old skool minis in Birmingham i couldnt believe how bad it was but the good points its a very early mk1 number 358 off the production line, and came with most of the original bits which are still useable the only thing missing was the roof

Yes a lot of work been done the only parts we could us off the shell were the bulkhead bonnet front panel seat cross member and some brackets. hoping to have it finished for the the summer just the seat to weld up know and all the welding will be finished thank god !!

That tub is seriously rotten. It makes some of my projects look in really good condition as bought.
Well worth the effort in restoring considering how few remain.

just a quick update on the Moke, finally getting somewhere with it, hope to haveit finished for Himley Hall in May, fingers crossed!

It's been a long time since I've up dated this post about the rebuild of my Moke. It's well on its way to being finished, a good weekends work on it will see it done & ready for its MOT.

The engine bay need a bit more work
I've manage to get two new old stock master cylinders so the repro ones will be changes

At least ye get 2 weeks in the UK,we get a weekend if we are lucky over in Ireland.Fanastic job on the Moke as well.
