Yeah seen those pictures before why I'm doing it, Northamptonshire is like a rally track :?

and yeah full lengh floors :/ to rotten to repair along with heel board

hopefully summer it be welded and painted and back on the road but thats hoping.

No updates of such just a massive mound of parts building under my bed.

Just a little update

Guess what done nothing as of yet. No time or money :/

Work but seem not to be putting it towards mini just driving lessons haha

Hopeing to start soon!

Well I've posted nothing in ages on here at all.

But good news! brought loads more parts!

Twins!!! off a spitfire mark 3 got em for dirt cheap so work buying a manifold.

Engine spec is gonna be finished soon but need to find where does over bores in Northamptonshire area.

and looking out for a welder too as i need to start still not done anything, so if anyone has any ideas be great thanks

Thanks for the update, I'm glad you are still accumulating bits.

I'm afraid I can't recommend anyone in the Northampton area, but I'm sure that someone will soon.

I'm based in Wellingborough and as yet have not found a local source at a sensible price that I am happy with, so tend to make the 45 minute drive to Southam (SMMC). The work has always been excellent. If you find anywhere I would be interested to here about it.

Well only guy Local was Martin of MRA but don't know if he's still doing it or not. But SMMC do a good job so ill properly end up taking it to them when I've got the other bits I want doing to the engine.

Also you won't believe how hard it is to get a Hs2 carb guide.

Circled in red. I'm missing on and my carb piston has been spinning, damaged the jet and needle think its why i got the twins so cheap. Brought one via SU (Burlen) and its too small so waiting on an email back at the moment. Unless you chaps know thanks

If you are after engine work, It might well be worth talking to Selby race engines in Olney. Has been around for years racing and developing A-series engines.

Ah bugga!

just booked my engine in to be over bored +0.40 with my A series Plus block.

£144 isn't bad with the VAT

I have an update!

so I was trawling Ebay a while back after reading Paul S recent project I brought a Bare MPI manifold gave it a quick test fit in a hollow engine in the car.

Incase you don't know what this is. Its the m24 Eaton supercharger

SPEC

Model Number: m24
Displacement per revolution, Liters: .393L
Displacement per revolution, Cubic Inches: 24
Sustained RPM: 15,000

weight: 4,8 kg
max. pressure ratio: 2,0 Bar
Max. RPM 17.000 (18.000)
pumps at highest rpm at 1,8 Bar so about 13psi: 380 m³ / h


Now just need to work out what size pulley I will need to get it down to 10psi as ill be running 9:1 comp ratio with intercooler
