It's time to present you my Cooper mk1 race car.
It was built in the 90's as a rally car never really race and change 3 time of owner. The last one race it at "Toutr de corse historique" and crash it. He finally decides to sell it.
I began to repare it but as I'm a young dad (2 childrens 2.5 years and 5 months) the work doesn't progress enough.
Finally I had the opportunity to buy a mk1 shell ever restore and I'm using it for the race car, I'm keeping the bleu shell for spare.
For the moment, the bodyshell isn't in my garage, and I need to work on my others classics (Metro mk1, Austin A35 and Austin 1300GT) to sell them. After that I will use all my spare time to work on the racer

Ouch! That doesn't look easy to repair!
Can you still buy the side panels for mk1's?
Good luck on the build.

I plane to used a second hand mk2 roof with a pilar from the car on the album. With the new bodyshell I do it later.
