Just a quick query if you could clear up for me.
Is the transmission tunnel in a Mk1 850 smaller or the same size as the transmission tunnel in a Mk1 1275 S?
I'm looking to fit full S running gear into my '62 including S exhaust etc and want to make sure it'll all fit as per an S.

p.s. while the engines out it's real easy to replce or rebuild the steering rack and replace the brake lines....just trying to help jw

you will have probs running an rc40,remote change and floor start,,,,,bugger all room in there...
convert to key start ....

Yes. Spank the exhaust and short out the floor start. Done that, boiled a battery.
