Idling speed
The BMC Workshop manual for 1966 indicates an idling speed of 500rpm for the Cooper S. My rev counter is (I believe) set up correctly and shows the correct reading at the correct speed for the final drive I have (across a range of speeds). However, my car's charging light comes on at anything below 1000rpm. What should the idling speed be?
