Hi all,
I've read elsewhere that the BMW Mini Pepper White(850) was close to the MK2 colour Snowberry White(WT4).
Have anyone got experience with this? How good is the effect for a whole car paint?
The reason for asking is, locally in Hong Kong its not easy to mix paint in the paintshop with old BMC codes.
So, a modern code may be easier to get and also easy to re-mix later if needed.
Thanks
Ted

Re: Snowberry white
I thought Pepper White was supposed to be the same as Old English White (WT3).

Re: Snowberry white
Pepper white is much closer to Old English white , not even remotely like Snowberry white .

Re: Snowberry white
Thanks for reply.
Can I ask another question?
What is the equivalent ICI or Dupont paint code for BMC WT4?
Is the Old English White more creamy/yellowish than the Snowberry White or the opposite?
Thanks
Ted

Re: Snowberry white
Yes Ted, Old English white is more "creamy / yellow" than Snowberry white.
Sorry, can't help with the modern paint code.

Re: Snowberry white
Dupont lists snowberry white under code WT4 1956-1970
Snowberry white is much whiter than old english white
Snowberry is quite a bright white
I dont think the 3012 number will help as a colour code for cross reference, that is just an ici panel reference number.
But as you mentioned at the beginning of the thread WT4 should be the correct code, though it shoudnt look anything like old english or pepper white.
