Window Finishers/Mouldings

Post by chichestermini »

Does anybody know if you can avoid the ghastly cost of mk1 cooper s window upper mouldings, by purchasing a more widely available (and cheaper) set of mk3 ones and just chopping the verticals?

Has anybody ever done this?

Thanks well in advance, :D

Only if you want it to look ghastly - the Mk 3 door top has a different profile to the Mk 1 & 2.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who do not possess it.

I have also looked at this in the past but the taller Mk3 door frame means the top frame length and front radius does not match the Mk1/2 door frame.
