Ive bought some replacement seals for my S calipers, asuming they were all the same i discarded the old ones and tipped the new ones into some brake fluid to get them ready for installation...
upon closer inspection, i noticed that some of the seals were U shaped, or at least had a groove down the centre, my question is, are these ones for the 'dust seals' or the inner ones!!?
thanks!!
Ed

The book of haynes says "the cutaway should be facing upwards" with regards to the piston seal.
It's ages since i did that job and i'm going senile which doesn't help.![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)
