i think if tims car wasnt been driven by such a nice chap, godfrey would have found himself either in the pit wall or facing the wrong way...

A couple of things to note

Dropped oil was the main problem (apart from pilot error) from the Imps mainly. This is what caused me to go off following the A40 in practice. The next lap you can see an Imp buried on the right which I avoided doing thankfully and you may miss on the left the Marshalls en masse waving like good'uns to alert drivers but I had noticed and gave them a cheery wave as you will notice. Towards the end of the race you can see the screen is smeared with oil and great black deposits formed at the base of where the wipers park

I can't think that Roger Godfrey did that on purpose as I think (at this level of competition particularly) , one is so focused on what's going on in front (and possibly beside you) that one does'nt look behind you in an effort to block anyone . I think that he must have had so much wheelspin that it slewed across the track. The joys of me working out how to do a start . It did set me back however and I never quite got back in the groove. What's depressing that he was over a second a lap quicker than me and went on to win

On the plus side I did have the foresight to buy a GoPro and this is the first time I have managed to get footage since Cadwell (apart from Shelsey). Definition ,sound and picture quality is way better than the old Contour I have

Yep the GoPro is a lot better, but I might keep the qualifying and race seperate next time as it took an age to load it up on to the interweb.

Ordered it on Tuesday before race and it apppeared on Friday with a commercial invoice stating it's value at £36 ........from Hong Kong!

Crap that it comes with swanky perspex display cabinet and packaging de luxe, but nothing to put the camera part in when it's not in it's little perspex box in the car , not even a lens guard

Starting from a standstill at Brands is notoriously difficult - you have to virtually point your car uphill to prevent it slewing all over the place. Merely pointing the front wheels uphill slightly has little effect and is, I suspect, what Mr Godfrey did
