I'm rather fed up with almond green and white (goes hiding) so I just thought a black roof could look allright. Now it seems rather cutting edge, as noone apparently has done it before....

...hi jens,i was just wondering do u get the new bbc4 series of "lilyhammer).."not the wrong spelling but a play on words about the winter olympics venue).. its about an american mafia guy who comes to scandianavia to hide under the u.s.witness protection scheme ??!!. its a very very funny black comedy.....ps how do u ever manage to drive on winter snow without there being huge numbers of accidents ??!!..always puzzles me ?? foxy52

no one could catch me, when there were snow on the roads, when the Mini had these on

ahh but we get really nasty hard snow that turns to ice overnight !!!...the "lilyhammer" series is an american production and fairly new to british telly..., its a very funny black comedy with steven van zandt from the soprano,s and bruce springsteens "east street band "...worth a look even just for the stunning lillehammer scenery ... rgds foxy52.

We had that too, mind you these days they spray salt everywhere.

But in the old days, it was on with the studded tyres, a local racedriver made his own, he was so good at it, that he exported them to the Swedish & Norwegian ice race drivers.

its the same in the Copenhagen Historic GP, in the old days, they had a short straight.

The Mini,s beat most cars back then, even the ones in the bigger class, but with the new long straight, the Yank Tanks get the advantage.

BAZINGA !!..u will rarely see studded or snow chains on cars in the uk but lots of accidents in the snow and ice !!!!... to many cars on british roads ....

I overtook it into the hairpin as I can brake soo much later. However, after the hairpin it gies uphill, which ment it went downhill for me (Pun intended)
