I am an Ebay seller & I find all this stuff very unfortunate & bad for all of us, at present, my mother is seriously ill in hospital & my father has Alzheimer's so needs looking after, this takes most of my time, but do I let buyers down? No way! If I can't manage everything, such as when I had to go into hospital 2 years ago for an emergency operation, I put a note on all my listings, not to bid & I would re-list them as soon as I was home. We all have problems at times, buyers understand much better if you keep them informed before they spend the money & they will come back to you. Since when has it been illegal to publish someone's email address? If that's true, how come many of the companies I deal with pass it on to all the 'junk mailers'?

Denis,

If your personal circumstances are as you describe I am sincerely sorry for you & I hope that you manage to get through these terrible difficulties. I can also see why you have had far more important things to worry about than Mini issues.

However, even in these most trying of all circumstances you must appreciate that in a case like this, Ian will become worried about what is happening & when you fail to contact him or fail to reply to the many e-mails he has sent you he is going to try establish what has been going on, this is all he was doing when he made the first posting on this thread.

I strongly suggest that you take a minute or two to contact Ian, explain your circumstances & suggest your preferred way of sorting out this mess. If you can do this, I am sure that it will be time well spent, if nothing else it will be one less issue for you to worry about at what is obviously a difficult time for you.

Hopefully you & Ian can sort out a mutually amicable solution to this matter & there will be no need for anyone to "wash their dirty laundry" in public on this forum.

I am not at this stage planning on locking this thread but suggest that no one posts any further messages to it unless there is something factual to add.

Having ploughed through this mornings mails I have also found a mail, similar to the one reproduced above, threatening all sorts of legal action against me the MK1 forum etc.

I have replied to him directly & don't feel the need to post that reply here.

Suffice to say I have extended my sincere condolences to him & his family over the very sad loss he describes in his mail, I have however also pointed out that if he does not wish to attract the sort of comments made in this thread it would be a good idea to contact Ian & sort out the problem that caused this thread to be started in the first place.

As I have said above, I do not feel that it would be useful for anything more to be posted to this thread unless it is of a factual nature. I also sincerely hope that Denis & Ian can sort out their problems in private from now on.

PS. This morning I activated a new membership application from Denis Bordas who can once more post to the forum like any other member.

Given that it was my presentation in my place and stead, I go straight into the heart of the matter.

Indeed, Ian Ockenden made me an offer during the auction on Ebay, I accepted (but something I will not do now), so I stop bidding for him. I asked him a deposit to be on, what he has done. I would propose is to deliver the shell 6 days after the sale, but M.Ian was not available.
I propose it again from 10 August for vacation so far.
s a problem is presented to me, for delivery in the UK during the Olympics, too much security at borders, which could cause a long delay because M.Ian had a timeframe short enough recupeper the body shell.
I want to clarify that M.Ian lives in Ireland, and that we should join in Holyhead, above Birmingham.
Why Holyhead, simply because M.Ian was not agree with the shipping for the hull Ireland, 2 Ferry and some 1200 KMS French tolls and fuel. We agreed to Holyhead.
M.Ian was angry for nothing, he could totally pick the hull in France, if he wished but given the cost, I understand why he did not.

During this time, we were in direct contact by mail interposed, despite what he might say.
Finally, I contacted 6 September to ask if I could come deliver the body shell directly in Ireland. The response I got from him is edifying, it no longer wants the body shell ! supposedly it's too long?
Following this, he can open a topic on this forum, criticizing me, giving me personal information about me that are strong and prejudicial.

You can watch my evaluations on Ebay, I've never had any problems like that. I sold a lot of parts and cars and around the world, including a lot in the UK, with or without delivery. most menbers of this forum I bought parts also.
Now, I find it deplorable and cowardly from M.Ian, to do so, and the menbers of this forum, who have found useful criticizing me without knowing me and knowing without knowing why. It is easy to hide behind a nickname.

If I am angry, yes, because in that case, why do you all have any nickname and do not give your personal details? Simply to remain anonymous, I think.

And yes, I had a serious problem family, in fact, my ex-wife, has died of a brain aneurysm at the age of 43 years, leaving a little boy of 13 years grief. Now, if you think I'm fun to imagine such a thing, I pity you, and I wish only one thing, that you come to this same thing and I think you will understand this, that is not, given the narrowness of your mind.

I work with many of your countrymen and for over 20 YEARS.
and I have never felt such contempt.

When you Mark, I thought you were a serious person and as an administrator of this forum, I think you could be deleting this topic from the outset. You are bein happy to collect money for the parts that I have purchased and it stops there. Well this is noted.

You suggest that the problem is settle outside of your forum, this is a bit late to react, I did not ask stictement, so I think my answer is right justified.
The world of the Mini is definitely infest evil, bad faith at that.

Gentlemen, I do not greet
