Wire harness
I'm a newbe to your site...... looking for some advice. Short story.... I have a 64S 1071 which I have been storing in my garage for the last 35 years.... yikes how time flys.... anyway I'm now in the process of resembling the car. I'm looking for a new wiring harness. I found on the internet British Wiring Harness Co. Is this the way to go? mike

Re: Wire harness
A better source that most of us would agree would be
http://www.autosparks.co.uk/
They offer correct me if I'm wrong but a special taylored 1071 harness concerning the special placement of the voltage regulator.

Re: Wire harness
Autosparks looms are good, but not quite original. For instance, I requested the same type of loom you are trying to buy and received it with no cloth wires, all wires of the front loom are covered with plastic! Sending it back and swapping it for another one would be another month waiting + around £70 for postage. I opted not to do it. You may want to read this and make your request with very specific requirements (cover every detail!) so you won't be disappointed.

But the same old feeling strikes again, you can't have a reproduction part totally correct!
Hence the price on NOS parts.
