Another early Mini up for sale - Good condition this time...

Post by NotNormal »

This looks like an interesting sale. Will be intrigued as to what price it fetches based on recent sales.

Full article here http://www.classicandsportscar.com/news ... ilverstone

So, anyone prepared to guess as to what it will make?

I think this one was offered by a seller from Hamburg this year at the Techno Classica.

Really should be in the W.T.H thread. This Mini 137 PKX sold at Silverstone last month for an amazing £24,000. Now for sale again, offered by a dealer at £47500!!! Surely he must understand that anyone remotely interested in Minis would know what the car has just been sold for and that his asking price is utterly stupid.

I'm sure that most of realise that a dealer has to make a legitimate profit when he buys and sells a car but,
As you say, that's a bit heavy!!

'......A local garage bought her in the late 1960's at 2.000 miles and, along with all of the other cars in their collection, put her into professional storage ....'

id hardly describe the storage conditions that the sharpe family stored the cars in as 'professional storage'

a meadly of ww2 buildings and wooden farm buildings more like

car dealers really do fluff the facts up!!!!
