HRDC 'TC65' - Donington Park - 28th July 2012

Post by Yorkie 'S' »

HRDC COYS INTERNATIONAL TROPHY MEETING - HRDC 'TC65' for pre-'66 historic Gp.2 touring cars

A late addition to the calender for Appendix K Minis, Julius seems to be putting his toe in the water of pre-66 Touring Cars again.

http://www.hrdc.eu/donington_park.html

At £495 for 85 minutes track time this seems good value for money.

I can't seem to make my mind up between this and the HSCC meeting at Croft - is anybody else considering the HRDC Donington meeting ? Was everyone aware of the HRDC meeting ?

Cheers,
Marc

So it's make your mind up time Andy, got to have an eye to the future here, would like to think that Julius will be putting on a fully season next year at a price we can afford? See you at Donington?

I find an hour long race is too long for an Appendix K mini, they come in with over heated engines, brakes and worn out tyres. I much prefer two half hour races as the recent Brands mini festival, anyone else think the same?.

Um....no.
Now I've gotten used to 45-60 minute races, I've gotten greedy for it. A 20-25 minute race now seems to be over in a thrice :? And I really hate sharing the car but it is usually necessary, financially speaking :( .

After packing up after 30 minutes I could have grounds for reappraising my position but it was just down to bad prep on my part TBH  . 'Still prefer the longer races.
