Hi guys after some advice, currently restoring a 65 countryman (please see other thread for pics ) problem is the original colour should have been tweed grey paint code gr4 ,current colour is fiesta yellow (which i hate ) the bodyshop have kindly sent me a sample card through ,the problem is im not keen on the colour!!! has anyone got a tweed grey estate or saloon that i can see some pics or as im not intending selling the car should i get it painted the colour i want!! ?
any advise would be appreciated

well after much deliberation i have decided tweed grey it is with old english white roof and colour coded dash rail,many thanks for the help ,keep an eye on "our projects" for the reults

If you are going to restore it, the roof should be grey, too. As far as I know, the only country that offered Estates in two colours was South Africa. And it will look better in all grey.

thanks for the reply i think im gonna paint the roof white ,just like the contrast ,i have no intention of selling the vehicle,some purists will frown at it ,but as the engine is going to be changed for a downton unit its a little too late but really appreciate the feed back,will keep you posted
