Madness on wheels - Rallyings craziest years

Post by mk1 »

From the makers of all those other recent motor sport documentaries comes "Madness on wheels".

The usual sensationalist take, concentrating on death & destruction, but some superb footage of Group B cars in action.

Essential viewing for anyone who grew up in the 80's.

For anyone who isn't in the UK & can't view it via a proxy I can upload a copy to down load for a limited time if needs be.

Recorded it on my betamax last night. Loved the group B era.

Apologies, still need to buy you that beer, Mark

Saw it when it was first shown a few months back but watched again last night as like you say some good footage. Way too concentrated on the bad stuff with a Daily Mail type outlook on the sport.

Group B and Group C were definately the golden years for motorsport though IMO. :D

Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only, but all BBC iPlayer Radio programmes are available to you. Why?

If you are in the UK and see this message please read this advice.

Go to the BBC iPlayer Radio homepage

Grrrrrr. I often wonder why these sites do that

If you use a proxy server you can kid the site into thinking you're watching in the uk.

Yup, using a proxy is by far the easiest way to watch.

This file may take a bit of sorting. It's currently 700Mb so I will need to compress it a bit before posting a link.

damn i wish i was young enough & rich enough to have been in the mix with those old group-B cars back when they were the thing to have,,, well i reckon they`re still the thing to have, just still can`t afford one ;-(
