totally standard Mk3 1000 / 850

Post by Pandora »

Driving home from work today I saw an old guy getting into an orange Mini, nothing to unusual in that, except it was a really tidy bog standard car on a P reg. No visible modifications, chrome arch trim, std wheels and wheeltrims etc.

Looked all the better for it, but when did anyone last see a standard Mk3 just being used on the road?

Made my day! :D

well, he was carrying a small polystyrene tray of pansies (well, they were wee flowers) so unless he's a racer with hanging baskets, I rather think not! He didn't look like a man with an 8 port under his bonnet either.
