Round button door locks

Post by nickacb »

Hello, I've been gathering some parts missing for my MK1 mini. So far It's missing some chrome catches. Also, I found that one internal door lock have the the early round button and the other doesn't have either, the round or the flat. Is it missing or is it just normal? cuase I found out this pair with the same "missing".

Hi Nick. That's normal. You are supposed to lock the passenger (N/S) door from inside and the drivers(O/S) from the outside with the key. You cannot lock the drivers door from the inside. Hope this helps you solve your puzzle. Mark

Thanx Mark, I know it sounded pretty silly but I just wanted to be sure.

Nick.
