I'm doing the Sanwa Trophy as well - Vegard Mære will be my co-driver.
I spoke to 'Whizzo' at the Donington festival and I seem to recall he said something about sharing Ron Maydon's car in the endurance race..
I spoke to Swifty last week and he said he wasn't going to race his own car as this will be piloted by Dave Mountain of Mountune fame... (yes, that chap Vizard mentions in his bible)
Looking forward to a great weekend!

Re: Brands Hatch Mini Festival 16-17th June 2012
First thing I must say is it was windy. But great quali and racing. We were up on the paddock grandstand ,great veiw of the whole track. Had my new camcorder going so I have film of every mini quali and race along with the odd photo
Had a walk around the paddock looked at all the cars. Spotted rich and many other drivers plus his bus made it down south. Good to see it for the first time after reading about it on here.
Great to see so many mk1 blasting Round the track and some qualifing for 3 different races. 1 being glyn swift and bill sollis car no16. Was on pole after qualifing and glyn won the first french race, it's also qualified for the endurance race, and was out in the all comers quali.
One to watch.
Also great to see James martin out in andy Harrison's red 72 ace car in the all comers race
Back there tomorrow got tickets for the grand stand just hope the rain holds off and the wind dies down

Windys not the word for it, the ez up shelter next to us took off and landed on a Toyota, it took 8 of us holding on the the MCR one to keep it on the ground then take the sides off and lower it to make sure it didn't go the same way

Great weekend.
Finally meeting up with some people of this forum. Acespeed and Guru. To bad guru had to retire in his last race. Didn't sound to well with engine.
Nice to meet more FB and forum friends. It was well worth the travel of 1100km in my racemini
further great to meat Peter Baldwin, Bill Sollis, Tina Cooper and Graham Strugnell and many many more.
I will post soon some photo's.
