John Rhodes Mini on Brighton Beach June 10th

Nice shot that, the very last touring car race at Goodwood in 1966.Amazing the amount of pitch he had to cope with compared with today's historic roller skates.

Which Rhodes car do you have , the 998 Cooper he built ?

We have John's own car. It is a car we built for him with Ginger Devlin's help in 2009 with original parts supplied by John including the Downton 1071 works engine (not currently in the car). It is identical to the one in the photo.

Yes, loudest mini in the world. That's Ginger's straight through side pipe. Painted in house by Ian Goodwright. A bloody good sprayer.
