As the jubilee is coming to a end i thought id throw in my 2 pence worth, and i thought some of you may appriciate this! as i certainly do! nice bit of rare history i would imagine.

My wife just pointed out that perhaps we were the only (non ardent royalist / collector) household still to be using a silver jubilee (1977) tea towel! Nonsense, I said, supping from my corronation (1953) pint glass!

Both came from my Grandparents house, and I don't think either HAD been used.....

How will this weekends tourist tat fare, I wonder?????

I just had a cup of earl grey out of my farourite mug (1977 silver jubilee mug) haha!

The white one with blue printing? I think All the kids in school & Nursery were given one (I was too young, but mum was a teacher.....)

No, I don't have it on a badge bar, iv never really been into badges on cars. I just thought it was interesting so I bought it! I keep it on a shelf annoying the mrs!

He he I hear you a few years back I won a price, with my White race Mini.
My girlfriend at the time, was with me. I said I might put the price on the shelf, behind the car, in the garage.
She then replied, why dont you take the other trophys out to the garage aswell ?
well the trophys are still on the shelf (in my flat) and she is not
