Hi. I run a pair of H4 carbs (ST SU carbs) on my Mini on the regular alloy inlet. I understand that the Maniflow steel inlet with small bore link pipe will improve efficiency/pick up etc as the smaller bore limits the variability between the carbs in terms of air flow etc. Is this correct and if so what are the likely improvements. The other question is could I 'sleeve' my existing inlet by knocking an end off the alloy inlet and sliding a smaller diameter pipe in there thus giving the same effect (or is that a rubbish idea?)
Cheers. Mark

Re: Maniflow steel inlets
Great. My first good idea ever. Any chance of some input as to what inside diameter pipe would give the optimum results and how to secure it in place? Cheers

Re: Maniflow steel inlets
I used to blank the big hole off with a good dollop of plastic padding & re drill with a 5/16" drill.
Don't know if this was optimal, but it seemed to work OK
