Minisprint 60 @ Corsley

I’m organising a celebration of the Mini Sprint to mark 60 years since Nev Trickett and Geoff Thomas first built one. This will take place at the original Corsley garage and the Royal Oak pub opposite which acted as their board room and where cars were often photographed. The date is Saturday August 30th at 9.30am with a gathering of Minisprints at the garage and a photo shoot at the pub also. Other Rob Walker associated / themed Minis plus any associated staff will also be welcome There will then be a cavalcade of sprints to Corsley Fayre at 11 am where the cars will go on display for the afternoon. The Fayre finishes at 4pm.

Already got a few cars for this but essentially any sprinted Minis throughout the ages are welcome from GT, RW, S&A through to Church Green and Heritage and all of Nev Trickett’s conversions it goes without saying.

I do wonder how many sprints Nev built and how many are still sitting in garages unfinished.

Yep definitely should have mentioned that, it’s the 60th anniversary of the sprint so all sprints are welcome. Roof chops however will be parked in the corner with a cone on the roof and left to think about what they’ve done
