Fair price even though half of the rear floor is missing....could be an interesting project

Seller has several interesting Mk1 bits and pieces - as well as a car discussed here earlier.mab01uk wrote: ↑Mon Mar 03, 2025 9:48 am Early Mk1 1959 Straight Magic Wand Gearstick:-

Is it me, or are there two different shells. One with no rear floor as you say.360gts wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 6:37 pm Fair price even though half of the rear floor is missing....could be an interesting project

Maybe this has already appeared here but that's a lot of money for a replica that Rauno and Paddy have stood next to....

I wouldn't mind standing next to the seller who guided Adrian Boyd on the Circuit of Ireland Rallies in the 1960s, pre Escort, to two 2nd places and a third in consecutive years. Wish I had some spare cash. May not be Rauno or Paddy but the owner has history.

I try not to be. But that's not the information they provide with the ad is it? If they would do that I'm sure a lot of folk wouldn't have my initial reaction. But the fact remains it's a (very good) replica, for very strong money.hanlminiman wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 6:37 pm Please don't be so negative.

Re: WTH??!?! Have you seen this item on ebay.
That ‘works replica’ was a very decent and original Old English White and Black single tank ‘65 S before it was converted so would have been a lot of money to do. Pictured in the 90s ..hanlminiman wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 6:37 pmPlease don't be so negative.InnoCooperExport wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 12:30 pm Maybe this has already appeared here but that's a lot of money for a replica that Rauno and Paddy have stood next to....

That is my old MKI Cooper S. It used to be OEW with a single tank. I sold it at Beaulieu to a guy who said he wanted to restore it to concourse. Its original number was KLA594DInnoCooperExport wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 12:30 pm Maybe this has already appeared here but that's a lot of money for a replica that Rauno and Paddy have stood next to....
