This would be a Springalex too? It is 14" in vinyl.
Do the steering wheel centres ever come up for sale?

Well, in a way it looks like a Springalex, but the spoke ends look "funny"...

Check this Springalex brochure: http://mk1-performance-conversions.co.u ... lex_72.pdf

As for the centres they do show up for sale on ebay once in a while
You can find them as well on retro-uk
If you have no luck with any of those I can try to get you one myself... but I'm in Portugal...

I'm no expert on steering wheels bit isn't the wooden one a Formula wheel ? I've had a few of these and think I sold my last one to Len Chandler (who certainly is an expert).

No, the Formula wheel is from one part and not riveted together.

The steering is a Springall/Springalex, if you look at the back of wheel you will see a screw holding the spoke's into the wood rim.

The boss kit looks like this, but you also need the upper part to complete:
(thanks Mark for sorting the pic!)

Well now I have the boss, how does the "pushhorn" looks like ?
This is the missing link to make my wheel complete.
