MK3 questions UK cars.
When did they fit head rests and floor locking bars (Pic attached) for the front seats. Was it MK3 or Mk4ish? UK cars.

Re: MK3 questions UK cars.
From memory it was Mk4ish...
'Complete Mini' book by Chris Rees says:-
October 1975: New seat frames with Anti-tip catches.
September 1982: 1000 HLE redesignated Mayfair, with standard Raschelle cloth trim, head restraints, cut-pile carpet, tinted glass.
Anti-tip catches were fitted across the Mini range (probably due to revised safety laws).
Head restraints were only on the 'upmarket' Mayfair initially and came in across the Mini range later (probably only when revised safety laws insisted on them).

Another quick question from me, what did the Sun visors look like on the Mk3 / early GT? Got a pic anyone?

Pete,
This is from my 71 MK3 S. Haven't checked my 70 GT....but I do think it is the same.
Cheers

Metal brackets on my '70 Clubman (and a big chunk of headlining that isn't under the window seal!

Re: MK3 questions UK cars.
Does anyone happen to have the measurements for holes in the floor for these?
Forgot to note them down before chopping the floor out!
