Cooper S mk3 solenoid position
Can anyone tell me the correct position for the starter solenoid on a mk3 Cooper S?

O/S inner wing/valance and if you are into detail they came with the red push button lucas solenoid.

The one on my Inno 1300 Cooper (which is sort of a Mk3 S) has it on the clutch housing. You can see it in my build thread
Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!

But the Mk3 S is on the inner wing
I would think that the position will not be changed from the basic mini on the production lines as the cable runs would be identical
The mk3 S was just a mini with mechanical upgrades the trim was just standard unlike the Mk1 & Mk 2 S models.
