Both of those look like little crackers
I'm not sure that the "Clipper Blue" saloon has been resprayed in the right colour though?

Re: At The Auctions
The Clipper Blue car is definitly all original including the paint.
I know this car very well belonging to a good friend of mine. A very genuine car with a genuine reason for selling.
He also has the Willow Green van in the auction which I restored 17 years ago. It has had very little use since then and in excellent order.

Re: At The Auctions
I saw a one owner silver T reg (?) mini genuine barn find go through Matthewsons on B&C last week. Rough with the usual rust bits but all there. Went for a very low £1400. A good buy for someone

Re: At The Auctions
That could have been many years ago, lots of repeats of that show.

Re: At The Auctions
I saw that too. It was a horrible, rusty and dusty old non-running Mayfair straight out of a shed and needing a complete restoration. Is that worth doing??
I thought it did well to make £1400.00 - and yes, that episode probably was a few years old

Re: At The Auctions
Hmmm......., the new owner of the v low mileage silver Mayfair, doing the subsequent restoration certainly thought it was very good value at £1,400. Not sure that it was an old/repeat showing. Anyone confirm it? It was shown less than a month ago

Re: At The Auctions
RIGHT THEN GUYS, HERE WE GO, LOOK
Another ten footer from Mathewsons. It's had plenty of welding but it'd be okay for the right money - i.e £5000 or so. It looks fairly original apart from the bootlid.
