All credit to you and your bodyman for saving it and bringing it back to it's former glory.
Yes there were a little work to be done, but your Estate was also a handfull ;)

If you look carefully, in the picture, of the lower part of bulkhead, you can see the crease.

testfit of sunroof

Post by JC T ONE »

Paint was almost gone now, just a few places left to clean.

Time to testfit the sunroof, in order to see if all was OK ? before paint.

You can also see the roof / screen frame repair, on RH corner.

Thanks George, and yes this was a good couple of days, but very looong.

Atleast, there were no more rust welding, to be done.

Only the mounting plate & fixing points, for the twin headlight grill.

Last day before painter 8-)
Holes made, and light bowls getting fitted.

All 4 fitted, primed & painted.

Finally

:) last day of welding - testing shutlines - last paint removed . etc.

Front part finished = brackets for grill, fabricated & welded in, grill tested, with lights & bonnet on, to see if all matched up.

Test fit of bumper, just above it (RHS) you can spot the holes, for air intake.
