Absolutely 100% a total fake.

The history of 176 NWL is very well known to anyone who cares, as is the story & whereabouts of its final demise.

Just another bull shit story brewed up to make someone money.

Prophetic words   "So, in another year or few when 176 NWL makes a miraculous return to the show scene having been found in a mythical barn in mint condition, you will know that it's all cobblers & it's another log book job"

"Caveat Emptor" - the only Latin I have remembered.
As an East End boy from the 1960s I never wanted a Reliant as that was preferred south of the River, Rodney, but did fancy the Berkeley with 2 wheels at the front and usable on a licence at 16 in those days.

Following on from Exminiman's thread, does anyone know the whereabouts of Barry Haig who was workshop foreman prior to Steve Harris returning to
Downton.I believe efforts were made to find him prior to the first Downton reunion with no success. He was a great guy and had immense patience.
Many people are not aware that David Miller (Border Garage) expressed an interest in running the company and moved in for a short time before
realising it was not viable. The end.
