Blimey, I didn't realise that little plastic thing was of so much interest but good to know such things are being made, whether 3D printed or not. Actually, 3D printed things can be extremely good now, dead smooth surface and often stronger than the original. So I'm sure either supplier would be fine. My original is still in place on the heel board and has a nice new piece of black pipe attached to it.

Resin 3D printing should give a pretty good result with these small parts. Filament wouldn't be much good though, too brittle on the layer lines. It's pretty good for bigger parts though.
I'm keen to try some of the online metal 3D printing. Prices are coming down now.
