A cause that's close to my heart. Lost several family members to this and spent a bit of time fundraising for a local dementia charity when I did an unsupported cycle ride to Paris back in 2017.

Would get my vote.

Guessing we are a predominantly male group and a cause very close to my groin is Prostate Cancer UK but MacMillan is indeed a universal and worthy recipient.

Excellent news Pete, looking forward to it already.

If I can find a comfortable enough seat I might even bring a Mini

Javelin are looking to confirm track prices shortly after the government dish out the pain in the Autumn budget on October 30th so we’ll have to wait until mid November before I can open up the booking page.

I’ll be driving up from Devon, it’ll be the first mini meet for JTO since Goodwood 2019.

Fair to say the prices will be going up after today’s budget, as will all small businesses but will await confirmation from Colin.

Any progress on when Javelin will open bookings. All the charities mention are good ones to support Dementia has affected several people I know and research for this silent death would be welcomed. The talks in the past have been fantastic or some entertainment would be good

Ok so Colin has got back to me with track prices and as expected they’ve gone up. So a full day is now £169 with a half day at £99, what do you think?

Seems good value to me, but then I’m used to forking out £600 to drive round a concrete car park in Northamptonshire!

Haha. Well it’s only gone up a tenner so it could have been worse I suppose. I’m hoping to have the booking page open in the next week.

Hello,
Brilliant news that the Blyton event will continue, thanks to all involved.
My suggestion about the two deserving charities you mentioned would be to share between the two of them.
