Hammer fell at 12k, but sure if it sold or not as I couldn'e rewind the broadcast.

Also did you know you need to register photo I/D with Mathewsons ? Why ?

What happens if you're a dinosaur like me with a pink paper license and and out of date passport.

I also have a pink paper driving licence and an out of date passport.
However they did accept out of date passports as photo ID at the last election polling stations and I suppose I could always apply for my bus pass if that counts?

Would an old style paper driving license be out of date? So technically you’re driving without a license?

They are still valid, just if you need to update it for some reason you get a photo one

Paper or Photo Licence will show the expire date .. Bank security check informed that my Driving Licence was out of date
Renewal via DVLA on-line was no problem & came back within 10 days.

Did not supply a new photo so i look 10 years younger that reality

From Web:

“Paper licences issued before 31 March 2000 are still valid as long as the information on them is correct. You should keep your paper licence and not destroy it. “

If you haven’t moved, and the licence hasn’t expired, ie they normally expire on your 70th birthday, you’re fine.

I know people who have moved, but never changed their address to avoid a photo card licence and fines etc. Problem is, if you get caught, you’re in bother.

I've just found out the same! Don't the DVLA reckon to inform people of expiring licenses anymore? :x

In the late 80s 2 NOS pick up bodies were purchased from BMH by John Smidt here in Sydney and imported.
They were the very last production type with the rod change floor. They were quickly sold and two more were purchased. Doors, bonnets & tailgater were supplied, along with new subframes. They were both sold to Henry Draper in Melbourne. When 2 more were ordered, BMH could not supply, as they were all gone. The last two NOS bodies were sold to Australia. One was built and was used for many years as the workshop run about.
The 2nd went into the chook shed where it stayed until recently. It was offered to me for 20k years ago, but I had too many projects so I declined the offer. It was sold to a fellow Mini racer a year or so ago and is now being built into a car.
My own Pickup is still sitting in the shed waiting for its turn in the que.
And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

I have been told that the shell sold for £13500. As stated previously it would be a bonus if it was a forum member.

Cheers Jim
