Looking to finish my 1966 “S”.
Have decided to go with grey carpet protectors with brass studs, if available.
Anyone have a set of originals?
I am located near Philadelphia, USA.

As far as I know there are no réplicas of those. And to find match colored material is very difficult. I had done some replica. Look better than black. Try to source grey Polipropilene.
I have done my carpet as per an original as possible. Even used genuine vinil to do the stitched part.

Thanks Nuno.
I will try to track down grey Polypropylene near me.
I just finished installing your stalk “black-end”.
Went OK with help from your pictures.

Re: Carpet Protectors - Grey
Was never able to obtain original protectors.
Opted to paint my black set to match my interior panels - dove grey.
Here they are installed.
I also found brass “screw type” rivets to go along with my original brass carpet spikes.

Re: Carpet Protectors - Grey
Well, as I mentioned I have found greyish plastic and cut to shape and applied black rivets.
But definitely looks better than in black. I think you will have to deal with paint being fatigue.
