Re: VERY URGENT REQUEST near Carlisle/ Keilder
From Thomas' Facebook page on Saturday night.
"Well Folks.
Anglo Caledonian Forest Rally and just getting into our stride on Stages 1 and 2 and we lost all the oil. After some time Andy Brookes, service crew, turned up with trailer and we dragged it back Carlisle.
On inspection it looks like the Diff has lost a bolt causing at least some damage inside and punching a hole in the diff casing.
Sadly that is Terminal despite Nick Wilkins attempting to find replacement parts.
I thank everybody who offered parts etc and even one chap who turned up from Carlisle but it would have been a mammoth task to undertake.
I would like to thank EJM prep. Nick Wilkins. andy Brookes, Ed And Ross for all the love etc - You were brilliant guys
BUT. It has given me a taste for at least one more event before I hit 80 - what you all think?
So sorry folks."

EJM Preparation were supporting 2 cars on the event and Nick swapped his approved rally overalls for thermal mechanics overalls. On event support without limits.
