Winguard metal washer pump

Post by S33blo »

Hi all,

I’m looking for an original metal bodied winguard washer pump with label and knurled nut, as fitted to early Mk1’s

Anyone have one?

Thanks!

Hi Steve, the pic is a plastic bodied one, and I assume you are looking for the earlier version? I know I used to have one but may have passed it on already, so can check at the weekend.

Is anyone using this system in their mini? Think it’s pressurised somehow.

They’re used with the vacuum type washer bottles.

As "Oneball" says, those push button type are used with the vacuum system - fitted to Riley 1.5 and other "posher" offerings of the period:)
You had a vacuum pipe off the inlet manifold if I recall correctly?
