I would have thought the best solution would have been to rename the pub "The MG Midget" and have a traditional pub sign outside with a picture of an MG Midget sports car and framed photos inside the pub interior of the various MG Midget models with some history, describing how the car brought prosperity and jobs to the Abingdon area in the 20th century. Sadly I doubt that will happen and Greene King will do what most big UK companies currently do and kowtow to the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) woke agenda imported from the USA...which seems to create more problems than it ever solves.

Fear not, things may be on the change with the newly elected US President and new Conservative leader in the UK appearing not to kowtow to this nonsense, I think middle class citizens have had enough of it all. Same here in NZ, time to stand up to the BS.
