Re: 10inch Front & 12 inch Rears
I've heard of the opposite being done with a 10" wheel Moke. 13" wheels on the front to get better cruising speed on long trips.

Re: 10inch Front & 12 inch Rears
We used to run imp 12 inch wheels at the front on the rally car once we had cut the arches enough, always debated if it helped or hindered the handling though.

Re: 10inch Front & 12 inch Rears
When I did race, I found an advantage on most tracks by running 13's up front and 10's on the back, Yes, it looked odd, but was one item that always gave me a podium finish. The bigger front wheel allowed me to fit bigger brakes and wheels that allowed for better braking ability.
That was often done by farmers and the orchard people with Mini Mokes to gain better ground clearance, once the Mokes came along, it was what they'd been wanting all along.

13" wheels on a Moke is a total no-brainer, but on a Mini they look like a kid wearing his Dad's shoes.
