I wonder how they used to clean the top floor windows back in those times lol, my local window cleaner use a long pole from https://wfp.co.uk/ but back in those days I imagine there was a lot less health and safety regulations.

That could be Austin dealer Lincoln Street Motors 550 Stratford Road Birmingham. My Super was bought new there April 5th 1962! Now a carpet and furniture warehouse.

One of the Shado cars was rescued from a scrap yard in Tenerife and returned to the UK.

Jeroen did a feature on it for Maximum Mini earlier this year. It's now been fully restored and back on the road.

That was Ed Straker's car, although it was driven by one or two other characters in the series, it was based on Ford mechanicals...

The wheel trims look very similar to the Rover P6B 3500S items (which didn't appear until late 1971) but they're not - they came from a very early pre-production Porsche 914 which the production company bought over to the UK to use in another episode ('Psychobombs'), there's a photo of one of these early cars wearing these 'Fuchs' style wheel trims in a recent 914 book. Porsche decided to go with steel wheels and smaller hubcaps in the end though for the base model 914.

‘Rotadipper’ moveable directional headlights, as seen on this '66 Mini back in the 1960's, that turned with the steering to “enable drivers to see round corners.”

("The 1967 Citroen DS series 3 first introduced directional headlights to a mass-produced car. This design had four headlights under a smooth glass canopy and the inner set swivelled with the steering wheel. This allowed the driver to see "around" turns, especially valuable on twisting roads driven at high speed at night. The directional headlamps were linked to the wheels by cable. Behind each glass cover lens, the inboard high-beam headlamp swivels by up to 80° as the driver steers, throwing the beam along the driver's intended path rather than uselessly across the curved road. The outboard low-beam headlamps are self-leveling in response to pitching caused by acceleration and braking. Because this feature was not allowed in the US a version with four exposed headlights that did not swivel was manufactured for the US market.
