Just a suggestion re; the Front Subframe " Brake Pipe fitting with the Brake Switch "..i set that fitting a bit more rearward as with the engine installed it all gets a bit tight if you need to get to the brake pipe union on the pipe that comes from the bulkhead ;)
Thanks will look at that. 👍

Still working on her..took me ages to sort the driveshafts and hubs, due to a bur on the inner joint, then needed to clean up the driveshaft threads.

The electrics seem to be giving me an issue, I know there are only a few wires, but one min the indicators work, then they don't. I'm swapping the fuse box out this weekend.

I put a new loom in my car when I rebuilt it and found it to be one the most satisfying jobs on the car. I also had trouble with the indicators which turned out to be a faulty flasher can. Once that was changed, they've been completely reliable ever since. It is worth going over the circuits though to rule out bad earths and/or excessively corroded bullet terminals. A multimeter will be helpful for measuring the point to point resistance across the circuit.

I have a multi-meter which I use quite often, which gives me varying results.
I am wondering if I bite the bullet and buy a new loom from AutoSparks.
