Hi
you would think that classic car insurers would be used to the concept of cars going into specialist storage... but apparently not, the number of questions, some quite bizarre that I'm getting makes me wonder whether I'd be better just putting it in a shipping container on a farm! Only storing for a house move for a month or two!!
Anyone else had trouble or just not told them!?

Rightly or wrongly I was comfortable with what the storage company told me about their own policy to cover my vehicle.
I assume your storage people have told you about whether their policy covers you?

Re: Insurance & Classic Car Storage
Ran out of car storage space at home .. so told the insurance broker that on one specific car on my Classic multi vehicle policy this car would be located at a different address .. was not a problem just added that second address & the photos of that car in that alternative storage location & that second address does show up on that cars paperwork.

Well they have seen sense at last and stopped the barrage of questions and accept it’s as safe there as it is at home ! (not saying much since the last mini I had was stolen from the garage!)
Cheers
