I have 2 sets of front disc brake hoses for my 1965 Cooper S.
The first set is part # GBH 174 in large print and GBH249 in small print on the package label. The hoses are 13" overall length.
The second set is part # GBH 249 and the hoses are 11 3/4" overall length.
Which set and length is correct ?
Minispares and Somerford Mini list the part # GBH 249 as the correct hose but do NOT list the hose length.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Front 7.5" Disc Brake Hoses
For Disc Brakes you need the shorter hoses.
The longer hoses will rub against the tie bar rod.

Re: Front 7.5" Disc Brake Hoses
I have borrowed a set of the stainless brake hoses part # C-AJJ-4027.
The front brake hoses measure 13 1/2" overall length. These will rub on the diagonal tie bar.
The hoses, GBH 249, which are 11 3/4" overall length seem to be a little short when the hub is rotated through the turning arc.
